About Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU)
ZJNU offers a wide range of courses and programs for Chinese and International students. It has 65 undergraduate programs, 151 master’s programs, and 20 doctoral programs. The university has a student population of more than 25,300 undergraduates, 5,300 postgraduates, 1,500 international students and 16,000 students from education programs. ZJNU has a competent faculty and staff numbering to 2,840.
ZJNU's goal is to provide students with professional experience so they can excel in the global economic market. It has formed academic ties, exchanges, and cooperations with more than 140 foreign universities and institutes in more than 50 countries. You can apply for exchange programs sponsored by partner universities. ZJNU follows its university motto of “wisdom with virtue, integrity with innovation”. The university is moving forward to build itself as a center of teaching and research.
Location
ZJNU is in Jinhua, a city in the central part of a province which has a rich culture and history. The second campus is located in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhangjiang province.
Scholarships
ZJNU is authorized by the Ministry of Education to recruit international students who are sponsored by Chinese Government Scholarships and Confucius Institute Scholarships. So far, the university has established five Confucius Institutes in the US, Ukraine, Cameroon, Mozambique, and Tanzania respectively.
Campus Life
ZJNU is well equipped with advanced and multi-functional facilities. The library has a collection of over 3.6 million hard-copy books and 2.3 million e-books. The university also has sports facilities, a huge study area, and a student's lounge. ZJNU also organizes events, gatherings, and excursions so you can meet new friends and immerse in Chinese culture.
